EPISODE 2 I’m on the road traveling this month so instead of having a guest artist on, I’m dedicating this show to upholding the true meaning of our namesake, The Burning Giraffe. It is a reference to a painting Salvador Dalí made in 1937. The Burning Giraffe was created in a moment in Dali’s life when he feared fascism on the rise in Spain, his beloved home, and I’ve adopted the name for this hour-long radio program. This episode features some of my favorite songs that I think and visualize align with the ideas and images in Dali’s painting, The Burning Giraffe. These sings are about our united struggle against fascism.
