Welcome to Episode 3, Part 2 of Estrangements, a show that provides airwaves for ordinary people to tell stories about extraordinary loss. Hosted by W. E. Moire, an ex-Mormon musician and academic, Estrangements airs every 4th Monday of the month from 7-8 am & pm. Today W.E. is joined again by Juliette Amoroso, a fellow ex-Mormon who left the church and made it big in the LA scene as an audio engineer, despite the music industry's systemic misogyny. After developing a chronic illness sparked by long Covid, Juliette now finds herself housebound, and daily, faces complex and inexplicable pains. Stay tuned after the episode to listen to one of her favorite tracks she ever engineered, "Mary Rae Says" by Clarke and the Himselfs. This show and its theme song are written, produced, and edited by W. E. Moire. Find Estrangements on Instagram @estrangementstheshow
