This week’s LESS ART RADIO ZINE is an expanded and mashed up version of an archival episode of the program from its original run on KCHUNG over a decade ago, when my guest Elliott Hundley and I discussed his work, listened to his favorite Italian pop music, and tried to determine who was most awesome – Stevie Nicks or Lindsey Buckingham. The show’s time slot was only one hour, and we ran over in our Buckingham/Nicks debate, as the next DJ didn’t show, but the KCHUNG archive cut off the recording, so I’ve had to put together a simulacral episode out of some recordings Elliott gave me around the same time, plus some recent episodes of the Mannlicher Carcano Radio Hour, and some more Mother songs, because the original show was on Mothers Day and I had a dream the night before last that I was in the landlord’s shed with my late mother, who was drunk, and trying to tell me a story about my friend John Higham but I wouldn’t listen because she’d told me that story like 9 times before. Elliott’s latest show “Book of Sand” is up through Oct 24th 2026 at Regen Projects, still at 6750 SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD in LA, more info at regenprojects.com.
